The 2014 Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) Deadline Extended Until May 2nd! Are you looking for a summer job? Are you between the ages of 14 – 24 years old? The Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) provides New York City youth with paid summer employment for up to six weeks in July and August in a variety of entry-level jobs including parks, summer camps, hospitals, community based organizations, small businesses, museums and retail organizations. In addition to work experience, SYEP also provides workshops on job readiness, career exploration, financial literacy and opportunities to continue education and social growth.
