9/22/22 DOT Meeting on BQE Repairs: DOT will present their plan for BQE repairs, which will detour traffic through the district on three planned weekends in 2023.  The meeting will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 6:30 PM at the PS130 Upper School located at 713 Caton Avenue, Brooklyn, between East 7th and East 8th Streets.  This meeting was organized by Assemblymember Bobby Carroll and is being co-hosted by the Transportation Committees of our Board, CB12 and CB7.  DOT presented their plan to CB2 and CB6 in June.  This will be CB14’s first opportunity to hear directly from DOT and we urge all community members to attend, especially those who live in the northern end of the district as Caton Avenue and Linden Boulevard will be most directly impacted.  We hope for a well attended meeting but for those who cannot join in person, the meeting will be livestreamed, recorded and available on CB14’s website at this link.  An event flyer is available to download and share at this link.  Please RSVP tto CarrollR@nyassembly.gov or call 718-788-7221.

11/2/22 CB14 Transportation Committee Meeting: Join CB14’s Transportation Committee online on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 6:30 PM for a presentation from the NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) on proposed BQE repairs and traffic detours.  Click here to watch the live stream on YouTube or email info@cb14brooklyn.com to request the Webex link.
