SYEP Deadline Extended to April 24th

The deadline to apply for a Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) job has been extended to April 24th! SYEP provides New York City youth between the ages of 14-24 with paid summer employment for up to six weeks in July & August. To apply, go to this website (http://application.nycsyep.com/) and register by Friday, April 24th!

Young people can register online or bring a completed application to a participating community-based organization before the deadline on April 24th.

Applications will be selected at random during a lottery. The selected applicants will be guaranteed an entry-level position for the summer with one of the partnered providers which include City Agencies, Hospitals, Summer Camps, Non-Profit Organizations, Small Businesses, Law Firms, Museums, Sports Enterprises, Retail Organizations & more. (*For those applicants who do not get selected for an SYEP job, make sure not to miss out on the CB14 Youth Conference coming up on April 29th, 4-7 PM, at the Brooklyn College Student Center.
