Sanitation Updates for Juneteenth
Posted on: www.cb14brooklyn.com |
In observance of Juneteenth, there will be no garbage, recycling or compost collection, or street cleaning on Monday, June 20, 2022. Collection days have been rescheduled and DSNY will work to collect all material as quickly as possible. For residents with normal Monday collection:
Garbage/Compost Collection: Residents should place their garbage/organics out at curbside after 4 p.m. on Monday, June 20 for collection.
Recycling Collection: Residents should place their recyclables out at curbside after 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 26 for collection.
Please note that it is possible that there will be collection delays, as is common after holidays. We appreciate patience as DSNY works to collect the backlog of material.
Additionally, all Sanitation Department administrative offices will be closed on Monday, June 20 in observance of the holiday.
