Happy Holidays! Are you looking for a good cause to donate to this season? Click this link for information about charitable drives taking place in and around the district during the holiday season.

Community Education Council 14 has partnered with North Brooklyn Mutual Aid to collect funds and new/gently used digital devices to distribute to Brooklyn students. Visit https://linktr.ee/nbkdevicedrive to donate laptops, tablets and funds. Email CEC14@schools.nyc.gov if your school community is in need.

Brooklyn DA Toy Drive (through December 21st)

Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez is hosting a toy drive to benefit Brooklyn children during the holidays. See the flyer for a list of requested items and contact information.
Donations can be dropped off or mailed to: Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office, 350 Jay Street – 19th Fl., Brooklyn, NY 11201.

70th Precinct Toy Drive (through December 23rd)

The NYPD 70th Precinct & the Flatbush-Caton Market are collecting toys for children (ages 0- 15). The Precinct will host an event for the community on December 19th. Santa will be on hand to distribute toys and take photos and the Flatbush-Caton Market will be serving Haitian hot chocolate and refreshments. See flyer or contact the 70th Precinct Community Affairs Unit at 718-851-5557 for more information.
Toys can be dropped off at the 70th Precinct (154 Lawrence Ave.) or the Flatbush/Caton Market (corner of Flatbush Ave & Clarendon Rd.) The Flatbush Caton Market will be accepting donations Wednesday-Friday, 10 am – 8pm. 

Toys for Tots Toy Drive

The 41st Assembly District Democrats Club is hosting their 19th Annual Toys for Tots Holiday Toy Drive. In compliance with social distancing requirements, there will be no in-person toy collection this year. Instead charitable donations will be collected to purchase toys that will be delivered directly to the U.S. Marine Corps for distribution. View flyer for more information.

Councilmember Eugene’s Food Drive

Councilmember Mathieu Eugene is hosting a food drive beginning December 10th. Food will be collected and distributed along with masks and sanitizer. View flyer for details and contact information.

 70th Precinct Coat & Food Drive
The NYPD 70th Precinct is accepting coats for the NY Cares Coat Drive and food for NYC Harvest. Contact the 70th Precinct Community Affairs Unit at 718-851-5557 for more information.
Coats and packaged food can be dropped off at the 70th Precinct located at 154 Lawrence Avenue, Brooklyn.
