Community Budget Recommendations Due Friday

Each year, in accordance with the New York City Charter, all 59 Community Boards are required to submit recommendations for NYC’s capital and expense budgets for the following fiscal year. If you have any suggestions you would like to see funded in the district, please submit your recommendations by Friday, September 11, 2015, using the attached form (pdf / Word doc.) Only in cases where the request is for a new service or capital project, should the request go through the budget process. (*Requests for ongoing programs and regular city services such as street signs, building inspections, park maintenance, road repairs or tree pruning for example, should be directed to the Community Board 14 District Office staff as a service delivery request.) Recommendation forms must be received no later than Friday, September 11, 2015 (via fax, email or mail) to be considered at Community Board 14’s Public Hearing on Community Budget Recommendations for Fiscal Year 2017 to be held on Monday, September 21, 2015, 7:15 PM, at Edward R. Murrow High School (1600 Avenue L, Brooklyn, New York.)
