Capital Funding for Nonprofits Workshop

Adams will be hosting a non-profit capital budget overview with New York City’s Department of Design + Construction on Thursday, February 5th at 6 PM. Topics covered will include, but are not limited to: eligibility criteria, the application process, and best practices. The Office of the Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams will begin accepting applications for capital funding for Fiscal Year 2016. For your review, below please find important information:
o All requests for capital funding from the Office of the Brooklyn Borough President MUST be submitted via the Borough President’s Online Capital Funding Application.
o THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT THE BOROUGH PRESIDENT’S ONLINE CAPITAL FUNDING APPLICATION IS SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 15TH AT 11:59 P.M.

o If you are applying for capital funding for a non-City project, you must ALSO complete the requisite Office of Management and Budget (OMB) OR Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) capital application.
o The deadline to submit these applications is THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 26TH, 2015 at 5 P.M.
o Generally, your project is considered a non-City project if you are a not-for-profit organization.
